Which waste management companies have joined Save the Planet 2016?

Via Expo - the organizer of Save the Planet, has announced that leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Czech Republic and Switzerland have confirmed their participation in the Exhibition (5-7 April). Finding distributors and launching new products are among the main reasons for them to be a part of the event.

BalBok Engineering AD will present its Mobile chemical laboratory under the project "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria”. Molinari will promote technologies for waste management of each type of waste. For several years Weiss has successfully implemented some projects in Bulgaria and offers a wide range of cogeneration plants for the production of energy from waste. The Dutch company is currently working on a new product generating hot air based on their well-known biomass furnace.

Geocycle Bulgaria is part of Geocycle - one of the world's leading providers of sustainable waste management solutions for industries and municipalities.

For a 7th year in a row advanced Austrian know-how will be promoted by numerous companies - EREMA, IFE Aufbereitungstechnik, Krickl Waagen Systeme, Komptech and Lindner-Recyclingtech. Visitors will have an opportunity to be acquainted with the latest trends in shredding, composting, screening and separation. An eye-catching exhibit will be an identification system for waste disposal. The participation of Gebrüder Paschev will be supported by its foreign business partners A.B.S., Vecoplan, Sesotec, STF– Maschinen – Anlagenbau and MAS Maschinen- und Anlagenbau Schulz. It will showcase a great selection of complex and individual solutions for environment friendly waste recycling.

For the first time the Czech company SMS will participate in Save the Planet. It has been engaged with the issues of waste incineration for almost twenty years. SMS was the first company nationally to go ahead with incineration in a rotary furnace, which provides the best preconditions of heat mode optimising and reaches the highest possible degree of burn up of the combustible fraction of waste.

Prime Technologies invites to their stand companies involved in the business of construction waste and also companies from the industrial and household waste sectors, RDF, landfill operators, project and engineering, as well as municipalities and public authorities engaged with the theme. Prime Technologies will present Metso and Nihot equipment.

One of the highlight in the Conference program is the new Circular Economy Package. The organizer Via Expo has invited a representative of the DG Environment, European Commission, to speak about the latest updates. In line with the foreign experience, good practices realized in Bulgaria will be included in the agenda.

Save the Planet is the only specialized business event in Bulgaria dedicated to waste management, following the trend of replacing the ‘take, make, dispose' model with a ‘circular economy’ approach across Europe. The exhibition’s focus is the South-East European market, which must respond timely to the growing environmental damage. EU members from SE Europe have to recycle 70% of their construction waste, 50% of the municipal waste and 35% of biodegradable waste till 2020.
