Interview with Peter Ondečko

Dear Mr. Ondečko, what motivated you to take part in Save the Planet?

We have clients Europe.all over Europe, in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, North America but very few in South-East Europe.

What kind of products will you present and which industries are they used in?

We are going to present our wide range of products used mainly in the recycling business: industrial knives, blades and spare parts used in the following industries: recycling, woodworking, pulp and paper, metalworking, rubber, tobacco. We use in our manufacture the highest quality steel coming from recognized European suppliers.

Our processing technology includes using CNC machines and vacuum furnaces for heat treatment. Knives are manufactured from tool steel, high speed steel, ASP powder materials, Hardox, HSS inlayed material and Tungsten carbide.

What type of customers are you looking for?

Recycling companies, plants, used tyre collectors, municipalities, cement factories, automotive companies, wood processing companies, paper manufacturers, etc.

What is your competitive advantage as a manufacturer?

We have a huge stock of most used parts in value of 200 000 EUR; parts are ready for dispatch 24 hours after an order is received. Mostly we have knives, counter knives, knife holders, scrapers, pressure bars, sieves, special bolts and nuts. For regular customers we offer ‘store service’ - we keep all necessary spare parts so the client has no need for investing in stock and can receive parts from his stock with us in a few days.
