‘Save the Planet’ 2015 paves the way for the progress in waste management sector in SE Europe

‘Save the Planet’ 2015 paves the way for the progress in waste management sector in SE Europe

11-13 March, Sofia, Bulgaria

South-East Europe is moving towards sustainable development and most of the countries are improving their waste management systems and infrastructure.

‘Save the Planet’ is a timely event in the sector that responds to the necessity of drawing on global experience and accelerated implementation of the new solutions in the Region. The format ‘exhibition – conference’ and the high international level of the event create better interaction between exhibitors, visitors, speakers and attendees from across Europe.

For the 6th year in a row with the active support of the Commercial Section at the Austrian Embassy in Sofia there will be realized an Austrian Pavilion. As a specialized B2B event, ‘Save the Planet’ covers all aspects of waste management: waste collection, transport, treatment, landfill management and operations, recycling technologies and equipment. The 2014 edition features strong international presence - 69% of participants were from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Keeping pace with the current challenges, the organizer Via Expo invites keynote speakers which will provide delegates with an insight into legislation, industry development and best practices.

The European Network of Environmental Professionals will organize a session ‘Towards a Circular Economy’. Experts from Abfall- und Recyclingtechnik - VDMA, PlasticsEurope and European Demolition Association have confirmed their participation in the Conference program.

During the 3 days technology providers and buyers, representatives of municipalities, state administration, branch organizations and NGOs will explore the business opportunities in South-East Europe and exchange valuable experience.

Parallel Events: ‘Smart Cities’ and ‘Save the Life’ (Emergency, Rescue- and Safety Management)

Organizer: Via Expo - www.viaexpo.com
