Interview with Erica Canaia, Sales Director

Dear Mrs Canaia, why did you decide to participate in seeSUSTAINtec?
To be able to establish our presence on the Bulgarian and its closest countries’ market.

What solutions / novelties will you present?
In addition to our known products as the RAS self cleaning Filter and the ERA, double filtration in one machine, we are also going to present the TEN, an innovative band filter.

Tell us more about the benefits of implementing these solutions practice and which areas do they apply in?
Our equipment can be installed on new lines but also can be retrofitted on an existing line. The advantages are many, starting from an automated, free of personnel operation, going to a big saving in spare parts. Maintenance is also very easy and fast.

Do you have any partners / clients in SE Europe?
We already have more than 300 machines installed in the whole world, and we are already present in Bulgaria, in film recycling application, but also HDPE and PP recycling.

What аre your future development plans?
We have many ongoing R&D projects, and not only in the filtering field!

What do we need to change to achieve more sustainability?
Recycle more. Advertising campaigns should be put together aimed to raise awareness about how the participation of the public in managing the plastic waste can make a huge difference in the amount and quality of material recycled.
