Dear Ms. Tessari, please tell us about your company and field of operation.
Uniconfort has been active for over 60 years in the technological sector of solid biomass energy transformation produced by the forest- based, wood processing, agricultural, food processing, special crops and urban green cleaning industries.
Which products will you present in Sofia? What advantages do they offer? Why should visitors choose your products?
Uniconfort biomass boilers can produce from 199 kW to 25 MW and from 50 kW to 5 MW. These boilers, thanks to its technology, can burns different kinds of biomass, with high level of moisture (up to 120%)
Could you tell us more about the benefits of Biomass and the type of Biomass fuels your boilers are compatible with?
Uniconfort Boilers, in standard and/or special versions, are compatible with various types of Biomass:
Forest and Woodworking waste (Sawdust, Bark, Chips of various sizes)
Agricultural Waste (Olive yard and Vineyard Waste, Straw and Husk, Horse Litter, Peel and Stones)
Food Processing Industry waste (Tomato peels, Distillation residues, Apples, Fruit, Brewery distillation residues, Oil seed and Bran processing)
Dedicated tree and grass crops (short-medium rotation)
Cleaning urban landscaping and embankments (Green waste).

Do you have some completed projects in South-East Europe and if so could you tell us about your latest one?
Yes, we have some projects there. The last one is in Bulgaria. This plant is used for wood processing industry and the boiler produces 1750 kW of thermal power. The company produces wood toys for children. This plant burns sawdust and wood chips. There is another plant in Bulgaria which produces 1800 kW of thermal energy for a textile industrial processing. In this case, the boiler burns wood chips with high level of moisture.
