Increasing Interest in Metechno Energy Saving Panels

Increasing Interest in Metechno Energy Saving Panels

Interview with Diana Pancheva, Production Manager in Metechno Bulgaria AD, Exhibitor in EE & RE 2016

Mrs. Pancheva, what will you showcase at the exhibition and should we expect product premieres for BULGARIA? What results do you aim to achieve through your participation?

METECNO BULGARIA is part of the international company METECNO - world leader in the production of thermal insulation panels, which encourages innovation by introducing the latest technology and maintaining high standards of production to meet customer needs. We are working closely with the global chemical concerns DAW and BASF and we incorporate their innovative technologies into the production of panels with a polyurethane core. For panels with mineral wool, we use the latest products of leading manufacturers KNAUF INSULATION, ISOVER, ROCKWOOL.

Our clients are well-known construction companies from Bulgaria and abroad. The growth of our production this year is 20%, which is indisputable proof of the increasing interest in our products. Our goal through participation in this exhibition is to introduce to our future customers the thermal insulating panels and the possibility to secure their much needed building insulation.

Tell us a little more about insulating walls and roofs, as well as your patented technology. What are the characteristics of energy saving insulation and fire resistance?

We produce over 120 kinds of products that can be divided into two main groups: insulation panels with two profiled metal faces and a core of polyurethane foam or mineral wool. Our patented technology is for the manufacture of wall and roof panels type HIPERTEC ROOF; HIPERTEC WALL and HIPERTEC ROOF SOUND. We use an internal and external profiled metal sheet and insulation mineral wool core with high density and oriented fibers, which are arranged perpendicularly to the panel surface.

The profiled metal faces are with high corrosion resistance and can be made in the customer’s desired color and type of organic coating. The flexibility of installation allows a wide variety of colors, which can satisfy the imagination and creativity of the most demanding designer, as well as significantly contribute to the aesthetic appearance of a building. Key features of our panels are: Excellent and lasting insulation; good mechanical resistance; dimensional stability; low weight; Quick and easy installation; durability and low maintenance, weather and aggressive environment resistance; high fire resistance and acoustic insulation in panels with mineral wool core.

In what type of buildings are your products used? What potential customers and partners would you like to invite to your booth?

Our panels are suitable for the construction of industrial, business and agricultural buildings, cold rooms, containers, all kinds of roofs and walls. Panels with mineral wool core are particularly suitable for the construction of buildings, which require a high degree of fire resistance and acoustic insulation.

Have you observed growth in our market for energy-efficient solutions?

During the last few years, we constantly produce panels for customers who have won European projects related to energy efficiency and included our products into their project documentation. Everyone knows that energy efficient buildings are the future of construction. The dream of every owner of a new building is for their building to be energy efficient in order to ensure lower costs for heating in winter and comfort during the summer.
