EuroACE and its EPBD Workshops Summary Booklet

European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EuroAce) is a partner of SEE event on Energy Efficiency and Renewables since 2013. EuroAce management body confirms its promotion support to Via Expo event 2017.

The Alliance is a cross-sectoral organization of the leading companies delivering products, equipment and services for energy efficient buildings. The specificity of EuroACE, which today counts 13 members, is that all energy efficient technologies are represented, from heating & cooling equipment, insulation, lifts, lighting, to maintenance regimes and controls, ventilation equipment or windows. EuroACE works together with the European Institutions to help Europe move towards an efficient use of energy in buildings, thereby contributing to the EU’s commitments on job creation, energy security, and sustainability.

2016 is an important year for energy efficiency legislation at EU level, with the upcoming revisions of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), which will shape the way energy efficiency in buildings policy will be implemented for years to come. In this regard, EuroACE organised, in the first quarter of the year, a series of workshops which discussed policy evaluations, expectations, and possible ways forward for energy efficiency legislation, in order to set a more solid framework for building renovation.
