Interview with Mr. Miroslav Matev, Manager of Concritube
Mr. Matev, for who are the chimney systems best suited?
The chimney system is suitable for everybody who needs to renovate their old chimney or they need a completly new one.
From what material are the chimneys produced?
The chimney elements are made of stainless steel type AISI 304 or AISI 316 with material thickness ranging from 0,4mm up to 0,6mm.
Could you tell us about the standards and certificates your products have?
The products are CE certified and comply with EN1856 standard for metal chimneys. The double wall insulated elements use rockwool with 25mm thickness.
What are the requirements for building them safer and more energy efficient?
The main requirement is the chimney to be installed using the double wall elements with insulation when constructed outside the building and to have the required distance from wooden or other flammable materials in the building. Regarding the fuel economy the sizing of the chimney is very important in terms of its height and required diameter, the architectural design and the characteristics of the geographical location of the building.
What accessories do you offer alongside the construction of chimney systems?
The main elements are straight tubes with lengths of 1m, 0,5m, 0,25m, 45 and 90 degree elbows and T-pieces with revisons. The accessories comply of different terminals (caps), wall fixing brackets, clamps, rooftop collars, etc.
What are the advantages your products offer compared to others on the market?
The advantages are quick and easy installation of the system, fast working temperature warm-up for perfect draft, fuel economy, less soot build-up and less chimney cleaning, decades long life of the system, very good price for the quality and characteristics that it offers.
What will be the focus of your participation?
The focus will be on the possibilities of the metal chimneys and on the motivation for a broader use aiming at fuel economy, time and running costs savings, protection of the environment.

I would like to invite all clients with houses and industrial buildings who seek for a solution for chimney, as well as trade companies or installers throughout the country who install heating systems.
