Stefan Sulakov will speak at the CryoHub event on behalf of the national Electricity System Operator in Bulgaria. He was born in the city of Plovdiv and graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, where he also obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees. His employment experience includes the South-East Electricity Distribution Company in Plovdiv and the National Dispatching Centre, Electricity System Operator, in Sofia. He has many research reports and papers in the fields of (i) planning and control of power system operation, and (ii) sustainable development of power markets, published and presented in the “Energetika” magazine, Bulgarian Energy Forums, WEC, IAEA, CIGRE and IEEE. He took part in a series of energy projects funded by the Bulgarian government, EBRD, EU’s Horizon 2020 and CIDA.
