LiftBalkans - Your Shortcut to the South-East European Market

The lift branch in South-East Europe is facing a number of imperious challenges - improving the safety, accessibility, energy efficiency and global harmonization of standards. All these changes move forward the industry to find new technical solutions and new markets.
LiftBalkans is the only specialized show in Bulgaria devoted to elevators and escalators and it provides an excellent presentation platform for latest development and an opportunity for international business. The event aim is to promote the sector potential in SE Europe determined by the new buildings construction growth and the big stock of old lift equipment (for example 80 000 elevators in Bulgaria have to be replaced with new installations or to be upgraded in the next years).
The organizer Via Expo expands the event format - it includes a Seminar that will strengthen the networking between attendees and exhibitors which will debate on the Lift Directive, safety rules and security solutions, noise prevention, retrofitting of the existing lifts, etc.
LiftBalkans 2014 will bring together again foreign companies and local key industry players to exchange their experience and to start new partnerships. Users, facilities managers, specialists, contractors and architects will attend the event and will keep abreast with the industry updates.
European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, European Platform and Stairlift Association, Russian Lift Union, Elevator World, Lift Report, Elevatori and LiftInform are among the event partners.
The premier event edition achieved good results in 2013 - the participants created fruitful contacts with visitors from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Romania, Russia, Spain, Turkey and the UK. A wide range of products were presented: elevators and escalators, monitoring-, safety- and communication systems, components, etc.
