The letter presents the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association position related to the approaching referendum and the alternatives for development of the energy sector in Bulgaria.

BGWEA welcomes Prime Minister Borisov recently announced support for renewables as a cheaper and safer alternative to nuclear power and calls on the government to take immediate action to decisively reverse policy and put an end to the regulatory chaos which is suffocating the sector at present.
