IFE eddy current separators are used to separate non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, brass, etc.) from bulk materials of all kinds.
IFE INP
The centric version IFE INP is used among other things for:
-
removal of non-ferrous particles from bulk streams (biomass, waste wood, etc.)
-
generation of non-ferrous concentrates (e.g. coarse material)
-
separation of ubc (used beverage cans)
The eddy currents are induced in conductive particles due to the time-varying magnetic field. This results in repulsive forces. The magnetic drum is arranged horizontally and centrally with neodymium permanent magnets.
IFE STRATOS & IFE VIOS
The special eccentric models IFE STRATOS and IFE VIOS are used, among other things, for:
-
removal of non-ferrous particles from bulk streams (biomass, waste wood, etc.)
-
generation of non-ferrous concentrates (e.g. WEEE, incineration slag)
-
separating conductors from each other (e.g. copper-lead granules, Zorba fractions) ► only possible with IFE VIOS
The eddy currents are induced in conductive particles due to the time-varying magnetic field. This results in repulsive forces. In the STRATOS and VIOS models, the magnetic drum is also horizontal, but the neodymium permanent magnets contained in the magnetic drum are arranged eccentrically.
IFE ENOS
The special model IFE ENOS is used for:
-
removal of non-ferrous particles from bulk streams (plastic fractions, cable scrap, etc.)
-
generation of non-ferrous concentrates (e.g. WEEE, incineration slag, non-ferrous granules)
-
separating conductors from each other (e.g. copper-lead granules)
The eddy current bar positioned in the head pulley, which is used instead of a rotating magnetic drum, ensures excellent separation results due to a spotty acting force reducing the scattering of particles.
