Plate & Frame heat exchangers (PHE) consist of plates and gaskets combined together with frames. It is an ideal solution in applications where logarithmic mean temperature difference is small and there is high heat load with low flow velocity. Thanks to its structure, the  exchanger is dismountable which makes it easy to clean.
