TELL – The new European labeling system

The TELL classification scheme is applicable to thermostatic radiator valves.

All manufacturers and distributors in the European Economic Area may use the classification system provided they recognise the regulations of the classification.

The right to use the energy efficiency labelling on thermostatic radiator valves can only be granted to products that fulfil the minimum requirements in line with EN 215.

The labelling and classification of a thermostatic radiator valve is performed on the basis of confirmation from an accredited testing laboratory in a relevant annex to a test report in accordance with EN 215.
