South-East European Exhibition on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy 2017

The EE & RE Exhibition puts on display a great set of existing energy technologies and it is a starting point for the launch of innovative products. It facilitates the development of energy sector and encourages the large-scale usage of energy-saving solutions in South-East Europe. It covers all sectors of renewable energy and energy saving technologies – solar, wind, biomass, waste-to-energy, LED, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, batteries and power systems, green buildings, etc.

Innovation Norway Sofia

The Green Industry Innovation Programme Bulgaria is a programme area under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 (Norway Grants) which contributes to the reduction of the economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area (EEA) and strengthens the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Norway.

The objective of the Programme is to increase competitiveness of green enterprises, including greening of existing industries, green innovation and green entrepreneurship. The expected outcome of the Programme is: Realization of business opportunities of greening the European economy. The Programme vision is: Good for Business and Good for Environment. All supported projects aim at a final result of improving the environment performance of enterprises.

EUR 11,5 mill. have been allocated to 32 projects for greening of businesses in Bulgaria. The projects’ activities are mainly development, implementation, investment and training related to environmentally friendly technologies, innovative green products and services, reduction and re‐use of waste, initiatives related to energy efficiency and more use of renewable energy in business operations, as well as increased resource efficiency through system and process innovation in the business operations.  
The deadline for projects’ implementation is 30 April 2016.  

The Programme Operator is Innovation Norway – a state owned entity under the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and the Norwegian County Municipalities. Innovation Norway has the full responsibility for the development and the implementation of the Programme, which also includes  assessment of project proposals, signing of project contracts, monitoring of the approved projects, certifying costs and executing payments.
