"Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone has planted a tree long ago." Our children and grandchildren will be able to sit in the shade, drink fresh water and breathe fresh air, because today we plant hundreds of thousands of trees all over Bulgaria.
The Gorata.bg initiative unites thousands of people with the selfless desire to preserve and restore beautiful scenery. Initially, it says, "When we get 100,000 - we'll plant a forest." However, the followers are more than 100 000 and the trees planted today are over 370 000. Today, the initiative is named Gorata.bg and aims to make 1 million trees planted.
We believe that every major journey begins with a small step in the right direction. Each of us can make a change for the better, and when many people want to make the world more beautiful, better, smoother and cleaner, driven entirely by good and selfless intentions - the whole universe will help us .
