Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe GmbH

Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe GmbH (KGE) is a 100% daughter company of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. Japan (KHI). KGE was established in Europe in 1998. In 1998 KGE started with sales, packaging and service of gas turbine generator sets having 10 employees. In 2003 KGE was relocated to Bad Homburg, in the vicinity of Frankfurt am Main, in 2013 KGE has extended its products range with gas engines and in 2018 it was established a Romanian Representative Office located in Bucharest. Today KGE has 67 employees.

KGE provides a complete and comprehensive range of products and services from one single source. KGE products are Gas Turbine Generator Set with a range of power from1700 kW to 30000 kW and Gas Engines of 5200 kW and 7800 kW. Beside products KGE offer a range of services as Planning and Engineering, Project Management, Implementation and Full Maintenance.

The last development of KHI is a gas turbine package of 1700 kW based on Hydrogen. This gas turbine can burn in a ratio from 0 - 100% hydrogen and natural gas. This is an alternative to natural gas classic cogeneration projects.
