The world of FRONIUS is an exciting place. Almost every day something new is examined, researched, tested, rejected, and thought out once again.
* The Fronius CL central inverter series was developed to ensure continual high performance. This series provides maximum earnings along with the highest system stability due to the combination of high-yield power electronics with a unique modular system design using the Fronius MIXTM concept. The Fronius CL with power classes 36, 48 and 60 kW is perfectly suited for PV systems of up to several hundred kilowatts. The Fronius Module Manager ensures exact MPP tracking enabling Fronius CL central inverters to achieve an MPP adaptation efficiency of 99.9%.

 * Fronius supports Smart Grid pilot project
The Upper Austrian "solar mecca" of Eberstalzell not only boasts the largest photovoltaic (PV) research power station in Austria, it is also going to be the site of a Smart Grid demonstration system. The aim of the system is to be well prepared for the increase in use of renewable sources of energy. Fronius is involved in this promising project with its Fronius IG Plus inverters.  http://www.fronius.com/cps/rde/xchg/SID-0A6CA4C6-1E0B75BB/fronius_international/hs.xsl/83_24013_ENG_HTML.htm

HEWALEX - manufacturer of solar collectors

* Hewalex introduces new laser technology

* Hewalex has the pleasure to announce that its collector KS2000 TLP AC has received the SOLAR Keymark Certificate.

As the first and only Polish producer, Hewalex has introduced the latest technology of laser welding in the production of their collector, which emphasizes the company`s leading position on the market. This method ensures a very strong connection between aluminum and copper elements of the absorber. Ultrasonic welding technology, also used by the company, would entail a high risk of separating the aluminum and copper elements.
The new product group is opened with an introduction of new KS2000 TLP AC solar collector. It is a flat-plate collector with a harp type absorber made of copper and aluminum, coated with highly selective coating eta plus by BlueTec. Other elements: painted casing, structured glass, insulation, dimensions and connections remain the same as in the case of the well-known collector KS2000 TLP. The application of the new technology made it possible to reduce the price of the collector by nearly 20%, while maintaining high performance and quality.

 * EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen
Since it was founded in 1983 the company EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH has specialised in the development and manufacturing of plastic recycling systems and technologies for the plastics processing industry.
Since the beginning of 2010 all EREMA systems have become even more energy-saving and feature new ecoSAVE® technology. ecoSAVE® is a comprehensive package comprising design and process engineering measures to reduce energy consumption by up to 10%.
All EREMA plastic recycling systems feature this bonus as free value added. ecoSAVE® technology enables plant operators to reduce overheads and bring down CO2 emissions also in the future through optimised energy consumption.

* POLYTECHNIK, the Austrian manufacturer of biomass heating plants
recently commissioned its first multiple-boiler ORC plant in Belarus. This ORC plant, which has a thermal capacity of 19.6 MW, supplies the district heating grid of the city of Rechica with heat. The plant’s electrical capacity is 4,200 kW, which allows it to produce up to 33,600,000 kWh of electrical energy per annum from regional biomass. This large-scale project was financed with the help of the Austrian Control Bank and is not only the first of its kind in Belarus but also the first multiple-boiler biomass ORC plant in this capacity range world-wide.
